<>Save and Earn Money on Eco-friendly Products
People all over the nation are starting to realize an internet business is really not sustainable unless there is loyalty, economical and eco-friendly shipping distribution. When people redirect their purchases to environmentally sound products and gather their friends and families in their own communities to do the same, the rewards can be tremendous. For more information on how Sustainable Life Info would like to help you start a co-op buying club of sustainable eco-friendly products in your community, just send your name and e-mail address with any comments or questions you might have to bldgcommunity@sustainablelife.info .
<>Save Money on Organic Food
Organic consumers across North America are saving money by organizing local buying clubs. Buying clubs are groups of people who get together and purchase a wide variety of organic foods, grains, and herbs in bulk from a wholesale distributor. According to Kathy MacDonald, a member of a buying club in Cheyenne, Wyoming, she is able to buy organic foods she normally wouldn't have access to in her area, while saving an average of 20% on what those same items would cost in stores. Members of buying clubs also say it's a great way to build community. For more information, and to find a buying club near you
<><> Housing Co-ops
The co-op was established in a way to maintain affordability through the years. People could move into the condo-style units for much less than buying a home in the area while still receiving the full tax benefits of home ownership. Residents own shares in the co-op, a nonprofit corporation that retains ownership of the units. Read about one type of housing Co-op here

Make specialty paper -- Here's one success story of the
Living Tree Paper Company.
Having seen massive clear-cutting of land she had loved in Oregon, Moran was dedicated to slowing deforestation caused by the paper industry, which consumes more than 40 percent of the world’s wood harvest. A five-year search for the perfect non wood paper for Talking Leaves led Moran to explore imported tree-free products from China to Eastern Europe before she met a US-based supplier of non-wood fibers and pulps who encouraged her to start her own paper company. Today, her company produces eco-friendly paper by combining post-consumer recycled fibers or certified sustainably harvested wood pulp with non wood pulps (such as sustainably grown hemp and agricultural residue from the flax seed oil industry).
