The Database of State Incentives for Renewable Energy (DSIRE) is a comprehensive source of information on state, local, utility, and selected federal incentives that promote renewable energy.

Try the Dr. Rudolph Diesel way, who over a century ago tried to lead us into "bio-diesel" not oil diesel -- what happened?

We believe we do have a choice and must take these things into consideration:
  ><>   Does the choice I make bring enough energy for the needs of the people without harming the earth, making the land useless for decades to come?
  ><>   Does my choice of energy harm the health of the people?
  ><>   Does my choice help people have a decent way to earn a living for their family?

><>  Do I want this?
OR                             this?

Things looking up for BioDiesel Fueling department.  U.S. Alternative Fuels and Advanced Vehicles Data has a map of all the BioDiesel Fueling Stations in America / Canada.   It looks to us that if this continues to grow in the next few years, we ought to start seeing more and more freight haulers / commercial trucks converting!  Wouldn’t that be something?

Fuel Cells for Portable Electronics and Beyond   Renewable Energy World
Fuel cells are reaching commercial viability sooner in other applications [besides vehicles] such as portable electronics, including laptops, cell phones, MP3 players and games, aiming to supplement the ability of batteries to power these mobile devices for extended periods of time. There are a number of reasons why fuel cells may prove more competitive in portable electronics than in cars, including the favorable cost, lifetime requirement and easier distribution in this market.
It's Lucrative Being Green: 5 Hot Green-Collar Jobs
Architects aren't the only builders required to go green these days. The American Solar Energy Society, a nonprofit organization set on increasing the use of sustainable technologies, reports that 8.5 million Americans currently hold "green collar" jobs in renewable energy or energy efficient industries; however, that number could grow to up to 40 million by 2030 due to increased demand in alternative energy sources. To get a slice of the pie, here are five of the hottest earth-friendly fields: Wind/Turbine Tech, Auto Retrofitters, Sustainable Architects, Energy Systems Manager, Environmental Engineer.

Renewable Energy Reading Room Available
The National Ag Law Center has created a Renewable Energy Reading Room. The room contains information specific to agriculture and energy, including an overview article, major statutes and regulations, case law, Center publications, materials from many government agencies and additional resources that will prove beneficial to attorneys, researchers, farmers and others involved in the renewable energy field.
Thousands of new jobs created by alternative energy companies:

Blue-Green Action Alliance, a public policy partnership of the Sierra Club and the United Steelworkers, said 42,688 jobs could be created in the state for workers who would manufacture components for wind turbines, solar panels and other renewable energy equipment.Pennsylvania ranked sixth, with 2,188 such firms that could produce 19,588 jobs in wind power, 15,767 in solar, 3,911 in biomass and 3,402 in geothermal…..

Study says renewable energy can create 35,000 jobs in state
A study released Tuesday says 35,133 new jobs could be brought to Wisconsin if the United States develops a national policy to invest in renewable energy……The Sierra Club, the United Steelworkers and the Milwaukee development group Good Jobs and Livable Neighborhoods commissioned the study, which was prepared by the Renewable Energy Policy Project think tank.
